Bronze V

Hello! So In my placements i got Bronze II after loosing all 10 of them. I then preceded to drop down to Bronze V because i was really bad and ranked was a lot harder than normal que. I honestly am having an awful time. I know I have grown and i really don't think i am as bad as i once was. I, as well as my friends, think i am more like a Bronze III - II now. I am finding it impossible to get out of Bronze V though. I feel its unfair to me because i know i am better but everytime i do well or don't feed the rest of my team always does and looses the game for me. I am getting to the point where i feel that there is no way i will be able get out and its really making me not like League as much as i used to. I may sound like a toxic player that is mad because he can't get out of B-V but i really really am trying and I just can't get out of B-V. I know that there is not much i can do. I don't have any friends that can ask to help me get out and i don't meet any Silver - Gold players in my ranked games that could, at least , get me out of B-V. I honestly don't know what to do and if anyone has any suggestions please tell me.

I've been in bronze five - three for years now. I went 8-2 in placements and got placed in bronze five. People online like to say they are better and there isn't elo hell, hurry up and carry! I just played a game where I was sona and I was with kalista, and I went 1-1 and my carry was 1-0. By cs we won lane. Gnar top lane was 0-4, Lux was 0-2 and jungle illaoi was 0-2.

When some of the better players started to play way back in the day, like beta or season one, they had much less of a population pool to deal with. Now there is an insane amount of people in bronze, and I might add, it is extremely toxic. For example, I played a game today where I was Janna, shielding kogmaw. He went 3-1 in lanening phase, and then said I wasn't good enough. As I've said on these boards, there was a renekton that wanted more life steal so he got three vampiric sceptors. I would make a new account and start over again, but I've unlocked so many rune pages, runes, and champions that I really don't want to. When I play carry top laners, and I win lane, usually other lanes don't. I remember one game I went 6-1 as Darius, but the rest of my team had like no kills, I was the carry. Well we were losing, I was doing dps up the ass in team fights, falling back waiting for cool downs, and apparently I sucked because I couldn't carry the game, when they aren't even positive.

Part of it is the fact that the players have no idea how to play. Part of it is they are really toxic, thinking they are better than everyone else and it is everyone else's fault, regardless of their performance. Part of it is they don't watch the LCS. I mean this specifically with junglers. People in bronze expect junglers to gank constantly, and there are some junglers that are better power farming. Or they don't think that some as basic, like ww, ganks way better at lvl 6. They never use teleports correctly. You can use them to get in lane, but not all the time. If there is a play bot, teleport to the ward! Teleport to the team fight at the dragon! etc..

It's gotten to the point that I play the game because I enjoy the game and have fun, and think it is a good game. I play ranked in the hopes I can get out of bronze, but I probably won't. I'm telling you, if you think I have got to be a shitty player, fine, but there is an elo hell. It's so so toxic, that literally the league community is the worst community I have ever been apart of.

I think a person needs to have gold/plat skill to get out of Bronze 5. It's a place where people give up. There is no lower you can go right? Sort of, your MMR can still go down further. Understanding this can help. Do not be afraid to dodge in a promo series.

I was told in placements, and i quote, "Sightstone is no longer meta for supports". People on your team will have t2 runes. Luckily there is a higher % chance there is someone like that on the opposing team.

Your average game in Bronze 5 has a kill score that Masters/Challenger players will open mid.

Bronze is remarkably bad at wave manipulation. They will sit mid or fight in the jg amassing kills and doing nothing productive. Late scaling champions aren't punished and you can count on a throw post 30 minutes. Playing a split pushing top or a siege/wave clearing mid lane are the way to go to win games. Stay away from ADC, Bronze isn't the place where teamwork to keep an adc alive to deal damage exists. Remember EVERYONE wants to carry, so if you don't ward no one will, if you dont tank none else will, btu you can use this to your advantage noone buys resists few people will buy resists.

The important thing is to maintain a winning average, don't concern yourself with ranking up itself, concern yourself with increasing steadily your MMR.

The BIGEST advice i can give though is do NOT talk to your team. DO NOT RESPOND to any comment, any jeer, any snide comment. The only thing you should communicate ever is 'good job'. Moral is huge. Yours as well as your teammates. If you mute someone, do not say you are muting, just mute. My win % skyrocketed when chat banned. I realized it and was almost out in a month. Banned now because i didn't follow that advice. Do not be me. Prolonged exposure to Bronze may cause psychological damage, lol.

I know this is REALLY old. But I wanted to provide more evidence of this behavior, because I was blown away.

Vayne kept getting hooked by blitzcrank. I'm Braum. Apparently, I am bad because I don't tank hooks for him. Even though it is his responsibility to not get hooked, if anyone gets hooked we are going to lose the fight, and well, Vayne has a q. And guess what? If I were to tank for vayne, he'd say I am feeding the enemy team. No matter what, people never take personal responsibility, and reflect how they could of played better. Instead, I call it intellectual suicide, they blame others and don't reflect. And that's part of the reason of the extreme toxicity.

My main got banned in preseason so I had to start using this account again which I was smurfing on. I went 8-2 in placements and got bronze 5. After 50 games, I have a 63% win rate and if I win my next 7 games I'm silver.

Elo hell doesn't exist and it's not impossible to get out of low bronze. Once you get to a point where you understand how to carry verbally and by winning lane you'll climb out.

Okay after checking your match history I can't tell if you're trolling or not. You have a 23% win rate and you feed every game. 0-10 Vayne, 4-16 Azir, 2-8 Lee, 4-12 Lee, 3-14 Darius. I don't know why you're trying to blame your team when you're clearly the issue. Your average KDA is 5/10/5 over 20 games.

Dude you really need to stop playing champions that are far above your skill level. Lee should be for platinum+ and not even challenger players will play Azir right now because of how bad he is. Yasuo isn't even great unless you're actually good at him.

Play things like Annie and stop dying 15 times a game and maybe you'll improve.

Edit: after searching a little bit further, I'm realizing you're playing chanpions that are way too hard for you. Honestly things like Annie and Kayle are gonna be your best friends. Put your roles to top/mid and play one of those champions and learn them.
