Live Streaming For Charity

Hey summoners, My name is Derek, otherwise known as imNooblit and I have been wanting to do this for a while and decided to try it out and see where it goes. I want to start a live streaming channel devoted to raising funds/awareness for cancer and other health related issues. I am already a large advocate and participant of charity fundraisers, and I wanted to combine this with my other passion in life, GAMING (league in specific). I already did this on Youtube a while back, (when i was addicted to call of duty) and the turnout was great. I ended up blowing away the goals I had set for myself. Why do I want to do this? You don't have to read this, but just in case you were curious. An obvious answer would be to raise money for a cause greater than myself (hey good answer) but for me personally, there is more drive behind it than that. To skip the long and depressing story I'll just sum it up for you. During my later yeas in high school, I lost a large portion of my family over the course of 2 years. 16 members to be exact, each having an astronomical influence on my life. I felt it was the end of the world and was lost in my own thoughts for what seemed to be forever. Soon after the depressing time in my life, I was hit with an even harder brick wall. My mom was diagnosed with cancer. I am extremely grateful for her to be strong enough to battle her cancer but it made me think about what I can do to help. If the charities we have, have learned enough about cancer to be able to stop it from taking my mother's life, then we are on the right track. I know one day we will find the answer and I want to do all I can to help speed up the process. So that's why I want to start this channel.
