Why Riot?

Riot today i decided to play a ranked game. Queued up with a friend, waited the queue time, got into game and had a DC at the beginning of the game. We lost that game obviously. I was still trying and so was my friend even though other people stopped. i lost 20 LP from that game. Now i know that you think that isn't a lot to lose..But to me, that is infuriating. I don't blame the DC, i don't blame my team for not trying, I blame you Riot Games for letting me lose LP due to a game where I did not have a 50/50 chance to win a game, which is something you guys said a few days ago on the round table that was super important to Riot. That every game every player has a 50/50 chance to win. That game I didn't have a 50/50 chance and now I'm being punished. I did not report that DC because they had internet problems they could not fix and that is very unfortunate, I'm sure they were looking forward to that game as much as I did but things happen. I'm a bad player trying to climb the ladder and be considered "decent" and every LP counts that is why I am making this post. To maybe get some help for others that have the same problem as me. I know you can't give me my time back I just want my LP back...
