Dispite his play rate I've been looking at him for quite some time.
Sure he may not be OP, but is he fun?
I remember as a kid watching Disney's gargoyles and enjoying the show. Even though I don't remember much about it now perhaps it's still left a lasting imprint on me.
Plus I'm a bit of a teemo player and I love countering people when they play teemo. And with galio I can call his shrooms "healing shrines" hehehe
Galio's passive makes it to where you can build full magic resist and still be damn effective. But he scales better with AP. When I play him I normally just go tank mode cause Galio Supp is fun as heck. I can't play him Midland worth a damn.
I spammed during free week cause why not and got my first penta by flashing into elder dragon pit and ulting lol. He's pretty fun but very odd.
Depends on your playstile and tastes. With enough MR and his shield up, you can get hilarious situations like Syndra's ult healing you (much to her chagrin)... XD
He's also a strong lane pusher, and his ult is a great threat to many low-range and melee champions.
Play him and decide for yourself. I personally found him boring, his only cool abilities are his shield and his ult. His playstyle is not my taste ..... Just spam q and e ....
You should try him out now before he gets reworked :)
Depends on your definition of fun. He's most definitely not flashy, or complex.
no he's not fun. he's pretty boring. if you like to troll your enemies into their own deaths though like with singed then yeah you might like galio. be ready for a LOT of flack from your allies. theyll blame you for everything and call you worthless
Well, based on my experience playing him: no, he's not fun.
if the enemy is ap and you're galio, you're gonna have fun max Q E W or Q W E, depending if you want offense or defense if the enemy has no ap, just go full ap Galio, it's still effective
If you like punishing people for playing champs like 
, then yes he is blast, he negates Leblanc's existence basically provided you aren't stupid, and is a great bully against fizz
Galio is one of the few niche characters actually remaining in LoL, one of the few champions SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to counter specific people/teamstyles.
So if you run up against a full AD team, no, I don't think he's fun. =P
Is it fun to watch people running around in circles, confused because they have no idea wtf Galio does? Hell yeah.
Got yelled at in ranked once when I told our Veigar "Galio is one of your best counters. Since you're confused by the hitbox of his Q, I suggest you play against or as him in normals a few times.
Galio is very fun. His W is probably my favorite ability in the game because it makes you so effective in trades, it makes it so that you can bait dives pretty well, and it also feels like you're trolling them when you have like no health and you press w so you don't die. There is also no better feeling than getting a good ult too. So yes. To me, Galio is fun.
