Server for India

Hello everybody. Now that other major parts of the world are being covered by their dedicated servers, I was wondering if we could get one of ours. I know not the status of Garena cuz I prefer NA & EUW. But its the ping that kills the whole thing. I get about 400 for NA and 140-ish on EUW. What I want to ask is what does it take to host a server? I mean I can get hands on three pieces of servers that were initially bought for research purposes (while only one was required). So if you guys can tell me what exactly is required to host a server, may be I could provide some space and hardware to come up with one?

I wouldn't mind seeing one, since here on OCE I could occasionally see people playing all the way from India or Middle East with hideous delays as they don't really have a dedicated server for them to belong.

It's not like India doesn't have enough people to support a server, the only problem is demographic, whether there are enough people interested in LoL or not.

Exactly, everyone looks for a couple of good games to make their day and then there are we Indians disconnecting every other game and spoiling things for 9 other people. That is why I was hoping Rito would enlighten me on the matter. And if they do have a plan, maybe I could help if at all.

Because unless Im level 30 the queues are 20-30 minute long. Id rather play on 140 ping than waste my time leveling up yet another account on Garena

Play on china or Garena.

Do not ocmplain that you need a server for your region if you have not even tried the other locations. You should try playing some where before saying you have a preference.

Asking if I could somehow help starting a server for the locals is not complaining.
I do play on NA (400+ ping) and EUW (I used to live in UK) (And I know not any of the languages except English that my fellow players proudly and rightly so chat and communicate in.)
GArena is not Riot's official partner or something so playing there is not supporting your favorite developers. Also it does not provide the standards RIOT does.
While you enjoy good internet connection for granted, we pay almost double the sum for 1MBPS to 8MBPS bandwidth which means we don't have the luxury even if we could afford.
This all would mean nothing to you if you are one of those who thinks that you are the only legit and whatever we speak - praise or no - is complain. *The one and only worthy and rest are all fodder. If not, then I am happy for you.

Asking while saying cause of X reason, in this case ping, is complaining. You have not bothered to try other servers cause you want your regional......

EU servers are not just one langue. Europe has plenty of other langues and still play. Common langue is not needed.

What? I am pretty sure you have no clue what you are talking about. Riot recognizes the area and leagues for a chance to get to their world tournament.

Not important and you do not actually understand how the internet works do you? This has nothing to do with ping, your up down does not matter in this context.

Anyways since you refuse to try all the option (other servers) you should not be asking for a server for india. The reason other regions exists is for 2 reasons, ping and server load. You refuse to play on servers that would support lower ping and you can not prove that india can even support a server(player numbers).

Is simple present tense so difficult for you to understand when I 'say' I 'play' on NA and EUW? Also FYKI Chinese servers are off limits and don't even suggest for Russian! Plus why are you so envious and what is wrong with me just asking some demographic info and permission for hosting on my own hardware and place?

And I do know its below your understanding level, but for bother's sake, the bandwidth was just a synecdoche to explain the poor quality of internet services. We frequently experience sudden spikes upto 1000-1500-ish every now and then. And you still gonna be like "Try all the options" which is only one i.e. to try other server. Its like try the servers and suffer otherwise dont play.....getting a server is not an option because I dont kow...may be I will the one paying all the cost or they all will get to my level! How do even people like you come up with strong suggestions is intriguing and amusing and annoying at the same time.

So arguments apart, I DID NOT ask for things I can try (apparently I have the IQ to cater other options before troubling the devs). All I want to know - yes or no? And I don't need be explain reasons for no. That will be pretty obvious.
