Are Support Smurfs bad people?

I've been doing some research on Smurfs and the attitudes towards them lately, because when my ping is high I would rather play with a lower elo than when it's running at it's full potential. I do not, however, want to carry a team and 1v5. So I haven't made a smurf account, though I still think about it. If I make a smurf account, and play only support (take no cs, take no kills, try to teach my adc how to adc) am I a terrible person? I'm taking what most people see as the least desirable role (though it's one of my favorites), I'm helping younger players, and I'm incapable of carrying without my teammates being capable too. Of course, if I'm forced into another role, I'd try to fill it without becoming super fed, but as a general idea, are support smurfs bad people too? Are mid or adc smurfs bad people? What is the general feeling towards those who make smurf accounts for when their ping is high?

I've only run into maybe 2 smurfs in my time playing, one was super ragey and a complete asshat, my assuming is his main was banned with the way he was acting.

Then the other smurf was an awesome dude who was super helpful to everyone on the team. Type 2 is fine, type 1 is not, don't be type 1.

I mean supports can definitely carry especially at low elo. I don't think the question is "is smurfing bad if I play support" because... you will have influence on that game more than other players or the other support in that elo. I am only silver, but If I go into a bronze game or low silver game I will win 80%ish of my games as support Morgana. (I know from doing this). On average those players cant regularly dodge my snares, I ward better and get more gold that the other team support, and just have an overall larger impact on the game.

The real question comes down to "is smurfing bad in general". And for that I am unsure. I do know it is generally better received if you don't mention you are smurfing. And if one is going to smurf its nice if you are kind and helpful instead of a rager. That is why I picked option two, because smurfing ragers are the worst.

Smurfs are not inherently good or bad. If you blame, rage, or are generally uncooperative, that's bad whether you are a smurf, a bronze who just got matched with a bunch of platinums, or anywhere in between.
