TROLLS IN THE RANKED LOBBY? HERE IS THE SOLUTION!!!

Ok so I have been many ranked games where there is a duo troll in the lobby (I'm gold 4 so don't say that I need to rank up). Clearly we are going to lose so we should have the option of leaving the game before we commit and lose LP right? Well, apparently not. Riot has stubbornly gone after dodging like none other to the point that they have been blind to more reasonable options. So here is my solution: We should be given 3 dodges every month so that we (the league community) can avoid these tough situations and be given a more fair game experience. Please give me feedback and polish my idea. Thanks.

I do understand where you come from, but it's a small price to pay to have to wait a couple of minutes instead of getting into a lost game.

That still leaves the option to use a network of smurfs to troll in ranked. Imagine just having fun dodging last second just to f around. Free trolling.

3 dodges/month probably isn't enough to solve the problem that you and many others have illustrated. Riot's solution to the problem appears to be re-vamping champion select (enter team builder, the prototype - yes i know that it's not for draft/ranked to start with.) in order to address the reasons why people troll.

from riot's perspective, the vast majority of trolls are players who simply want to play one position/role/champion and are frustrated by the current champ. selects ability to fulfill that desire. so when prevented from playing what they wish, they troll. team builder will take that possibility out of the equation and solve the problems. however, it still needs to be tweaked for ranked/draft as riot isn't certain how effective team builder will be if expanded in order to give you the ability to queue up with a range of champions. (6 would be my guess) and then draft from them. the team working on team builder @ lyte and Davin, have been cagey about giving details on the path forwards as it's really early in the development process to begin with.

in conclusion - i'm not against the 3 dodges, but i don't think it will really help much. :( sorry.

Even still Riot doesn't need to know if the dodge was legitimate or not, if there is only one dodge per month that means will not be too many dodges on a lobby by lobby basis. Also, even if it was a troll dodge I would much rather pay the price of finding a new game than having no dodges at all and losing LP

that won't change anything. The real solution is punishing the trolls, and we really need a way to get pre-game trolls punished hard with LP and MMR losses, and refunding MMR and LP to people who get trolled pre-game. Pre-game chat logs in tribunal would also make a massive difference.
