Idea AND Feedback: Let us solo queue players go into ranked solo queue and not have to deal with duo

I have a dream

That one day nobody will be forced to deal with stuff like this

That one day when I press that button to queue for ranked it won't say "Yes, yes this match looks just fine. Send it through."

This is not acceptable. This is not fun. This is not competitive. This is just an insult to 8 people that hit solo queue and didn't expect to go up against somebody OVER AN ENTIRE RANKING BRACKET higher than them.

I feel ya. However, lets be honest. If there was a feature to avoid duo queues in ranked, would you ever turn it off if you were solo queue?

Chances are you, and the majority of people, would not. Which in the end would only screw with the duo queues, and if it applied to normals, then quad queues are SoL, and all but solo's and 5 man premades are effected negatively.

Catering to solo players in this way hurts the game more than it helps it. I think the real issue with duo's are duo queuers with high difference in rank (like your example, d3 and b4) Duo queues of similar rank will not really effect performance that much, as they might have gotten paired together anyways if they solo queued. When the disparsity between ranks happen, you will see games like this one.

Perhaps if you could propose a solution that would address this specific problem, without negatively impacting the game, then you could have a discussion about it.
