So I'm a professional SMITE player and I'm currently in Masters. I have recently decided to start playing LoL, I've seen a couple of youtube videos called "League of Children" and "LoL in a nutshell" but not any actual serious gameplay. I played against bots for a while so I could get to level 8 and get "Flash" since I already know that this summoner spell is very much used in the game all the time, but then when I finally got Flash, I decided to play against other people for the first time, and it wasn't very hard at all. I had just as much knowledge of the game as everybody else on both teams, and in the end I went 24/8/8 as veigar in mid a few months ago. After that, I stopped playing LoL for a while simply because the gameplay is kind of boring, until 20 minutes ago when I played LoL again and went 22/0/13 as Xerath mid. Overall, SMITE is simple; not easy, while LoL is easy; not simple.

Actually when I played professionally on MLG I was required to make posts on numerous accounts even on things I cared nothing about.

He started a conversation that got stopped because LOLS community is 90% troll 9% Player 1% Botters to sell accounts.

He made the post personal vs 100% factual in the eyes of "THIS" community not myself. I read through, comprehended what he said, and then read through the posts below. He wasn't flexing, or getting in your face BRO.

Perfectly said. I know many LOL players who went to smite because its SIMPLE. I can't STAND smite graphics, sounds, or game play so I stayed.

There is 100000000000 different ways to build a lol game. The overall game ISNT HARD if your mechanically inclined with your MOBA play. ITS A TEAM OBJECTIVE GAME = CS / PUSH

Most kids argue this and complicate an EXTREMELY SIMPLE game by chasing kills and acting as if they are playing COD.

His personal statement shows he has a high level of skill in this type of game. While having a high level of skill he is making statements about the game after being matched with what very well might be new players.

This is what I got out of his post, nothing more, nothing less. I don't see how your baggage comment applies to me, though I would like you to explain it in case I actually said something wrong here outside of insulting his mindset.

You still are hung up on things used to describe the point of his post.... Maybe we should just revert back to basic understanding and reading comprehension for you on this one. He used a statement, to describe a situation he was using to prove a point. While he did it like a retard, he still built up to providing a conversational piece...

The last like 6 comments on here have all reverted back again to a point...HE HAD NO INTENTION even being the topic of discussion.

His point may be fine, but his supporting evidence is flawed. You're telling me to ignore that evidence because it is "personal information". What he is doing is exactly the same as if I said chess is an easy game because I won a few matches against a child. You can't just focus on my statement "chess is easy", you have to take the additional information into account.

He is not a new MOBA player, and as such he cannot rightfully state that the game is easy when playing against unskilled opponents. Do you understand? This fact is not the topic, it is supporting evidence that goes against his statement, which is the true topic.

Who is to say he did play against was unskilled... Most the factors for your defense seam to be variables in which we wont find any truth from. I naturally assume he was a troll from the name. I don't argue what he used as viable points to prove his statement where well thought out or logical. I agreed with his statement and I don't think a person should get caught up on anything in between.

The average smurf is of silver rank or lower. Taking this into account alongside his provided skill level in this game genre it is safe to say his opponents up to this point have been unskilled in comparison.

Now, he did not exactly give a logical argument, as you said, however any logical argument drawn from his post WILL include his skill level in the genre and the skill of his opponents. Even if he did not provide his skill level, it would be required if his stated conclusion is to be taken seriously. We do not have the exact skill level of his opponents, however it is likely enough that they were of average or lower skill level relative to the rest of League's player base that his conclusion can be safely doubted.

Your continued attempts to separate his premises from his conclusion is getting absurd. If one premise doesn't hold it's own weight the conclusion is invalidated. You don't get to pick and choose which premises matter.

I downloaded and played the game and came to this conclusion... I am not pro so how does this hold any bearing to the statement, which he supported ( Even tho it was supported poorly ).

So its now a poor argument because you know little to nothing about the other game? How has it now fallen to him and I to educate you about the game style changes between the two? Not once was I offering anymore then My agreeance with his overall conclusion. I argued the continued and relentless assault that was taking place all based on facts (TRUE or FALSE ) he provided to support a statement... Which I backed from my experience and supported to be true.

Perhaps its not me who has had a hard time understanding the other.

At level 8 he is making a broad statement about the game. I don't use bronze in the literal sense, as there are many great people at that skill level, I use it as the stereotype where people view themselves as being above everyone who is similarly ranked to themselves.

The OP clearly sees himself as above the other players he is being matched with, yet he is being matched with people who are also low level. He has experience with MOBAs, and is clearly not a beginner player, yet he considers the skill gap to be a representation of how easy League is compared to SMITE.

Perhaps I brought up the "bronze" insult too soon, however I'm not expecting him to prove me otherwise, whether he can or not.

Because he stated a personal fact...it turns everything he said into a moot point and EVERY " INDIVIDUAL " needs to put in their 2 cents about how seeing his personal statement made them feel like less of a person?

Im really happy for you. you are an expert gamer, and likely rather young no doubt 17-23. Just because something is easy for you, doesnt make it easy. Professionals find non pro competitions easy for them, thats what you found here. you havent tried playing the game at the level you are used it, if indeed you are a pro player. If lebron james played against some intramural local tavern noobs, as you did here..he would also say, basketball is easy...because a bunch of low skill players vs a pro phenom is GG EZ all day.

que up against another pro, and then lets see if its as easy of a game as you say it is.

I forgot to mention something else in this thread: After the 24/8/8 game as veigar from a few months ago, I decided to try out and play DotA 2 and HOTS. In both of these games, I played against bots for a while until I played against other actual people, except on those games against other people I had normal KDR's such as 4/6/7 or 5/5/3. The gameplay in HOTS and DotA 2 were both still as boring as the gameplay in LoL, but it was in fact MUCH harder than LoL.

Not going to question whether you are an actual Pro SMITE player, but at level 8 most of the people you are facing are pretty bad at the game. If you do have extensive knowledge and experience with other MOBA's, chances are you are going to do very well at early levels of the game (at least until you are placed against better opponents). So honestly I dont really think its fair to come to the conclusion that LoL is easy when you have yet to face off against people of higher skill. I'm not one of those people because I'm bad, but i have went up against a low Challenger player once and it was in no way easy.

I originally created this thread because assholes from LoL bring their highly toxic community into Smite and have been doing so very much in the few recent months.

Also, the last game in my match history I just left because I got really bored of the gameplay.
