The champions that you SHOULD be playing to get your end of the season rewards.

Hey guys, with the season coming to a close we're all gearing up to make our last runs in ranked to get into the ranks that we all deserve. Whether that be Silver, Gold, Diamond, or even just Bronze 4 (so that you can tell all of those Bronze 5 players that you're better than them), here is a list of champions that you SHOULD be playing if you only care about LP. These are champions that are extremely underrated, not likely to draw any bans, and will win you games.

Annie - This champion is super easy to farm with with the mana and cd refund on her Q and is very strong in lane. Her lethal at level 6 with ignite is near 70% hp for most champs and even when behind she can one shot squishies. Plus her low cd spells mean that she can still do damage to tanks. Not even to mention that this is one champion that can single handedly win any teamfight with one ulti. Nearly impossible to do badly with this champion.

Cho'Gath - Alright, Cho'Gath is THE single most broken champion in the entire game. Now, before you laugh, hear me out. His passive is insane, essentially making it impossible to deal any meaningful damage in lane because he will simply heal it all back up. Plus this champion has good wave clear and has a lot of cc to escape from and follow up on ganks. Also he scales insanely well, being the tankiest member on his team as well as dealing more than 1k true damage with his ulti is a very common occurrence for a Cho'Gath. Not even to mention that he has an instant, AOE, 2.5s silence that destroys people in teamfights. He can easily one-shot squishies with a tank focused build as well as excelling in pealing for his carries with his knockup and silence. If people realized how strong Cho'Gath is then he'd be 100% pick/ban. Especially in low elo, Cho will get you that freelo.

Irelia - This is one of the best top laners that you can play. Irelia's 2 sec almost guarantees that you will win all trades in lane, creates picks late game with ease, as well as ensuring that you will be able to shut down the enemy carries in teamfights with one E. If Irelia gets a lead in lane then she can max W and do a ridiculous amount of damage. If she somehow falls behind Irelia will just max E and walk away with her two second stun every time your enemy tries to engage on you. She also does much better than most champs with low gold income; the power spike that she gains from just a Trinity Force is enough to make her stronger than. From then on all she needs are tank items because her damage is already insanely high.

Shyvana - Her jungle clear is very fast and she can farm up a sated devourer very quickly. With just that and a Botrk she will do insane amounts of damage while being able to build straight tank after that. With her speedup, Botrk active, and ult she is very hard to kite out. I have literally never seen a Shyvana lose a game if she finishes her sated item. She simply outdamages AND outtanks your entire team. All you have to do is farm for 15 minutes and then win the game.

Malzahar - This champion. Alright, so Malzahar has very good waveclear with space aids and his q. He is very hard to trade with because of his DoT, void puppies, and his silence. After level 6 his ulti guarantees kills for his jungler as well as dealing tons of damage. He is MADE to shut down those enemy carries that your team fed the shit out of. He just presses R and that Yasuo's 6 kills don't mean anything. He picks people off with ease and is almost impossible to 1v1. Insanely strong champion that I am surprised doesn't get more play.

Soraka - Banana lady is bullshit. You can't trade with her adc in lane because she will just heal them up. You can't catch people out because she will just heal them. You can't 1v1 your enemy laner in mid or top because her ulti will save them every time. Her point and click AOE silence is INSANELY strong and very underrated. She is the a get out of jail free card for her entire team. She can even save that Vayne that tumbles in 1v5. She is THE most broken support in the game and it's surprising that she isn't 100% pick/ban.

Brand - Now Brand is a little different than the rest of the champions on this list. He isn't as braindead easy to play as the champions above. He requires good positioning and doesn't have a free "Fuck you" ability like Malzahar does. Yet he deserves a place on this list simply for how strong he really is. Brand is a champion that is a force to be reckoned with at every point in the game. He can be a bully early, he wrecks mid game teamfights with his aoe. And he single handedly wins late game fights with his AOE and his burn. He also has insanely good synergy between his burn and Rylai's turning any ability he hits into a slow that resets on every tick of burn. Because his targets are always slowed with Rylai's, Liandry's does insane amounts of damage to the enemy team. One of the best things is that unlike a lot of mages who are only able to do meaningful damage to squishies, Brand destroys everybody with his damage. He one-shots squishies with ease. He easily outkites and melts all tanks. He is the quintessential damage dealer mid. Not even to mention that he has a two second stun in his kit, has TONS of aoe between his W and his ulti. And, you didn't hear this from me, but his ultimate is bugged and has been for half the season. It will currently give perfect bounces inside minion waves 100% of the time without a burn already being down on them.

And a list of honorable mention champions who are also very good but aren't as OP as those listed above:

Diana - Mid and jungle. She does a ton of damage, has a very strong build path that allows her to destroy enemies while still building resistances. Garen - With just a black cleaver this guy outdamages your whole team and is still insanely tanky. With a warmogs he will go from 100hp to 100%hp in ~20s. Honestly surprised we don't see as much of him as we have of the other juggernauts. Renekton - Super good in lane, a huge lane bully. Has super good 1v2 potential post-6 and is very strong with the new juggernaut items. It's not season 3 and 4 Renekton but it's still very good.

And because I didn't list any adcs, if you are stuck playing this awful role in solo queue just play Cait or Trist if you want to be safe, be strong in lane, and scale super well. Play Ashe if you don't mind trading mobility for game winning engage with her ultimate.
