I really like the LoL lore. I think there's lots of potential in it, but I don't see many people writing stories about it. So, my question is, do people post about their fanfic on the boards at all? (and would it be terribly tack to self-plug mine :P)

Years ago they did a lot more with their lore than what they do nowadays. Most of the fanfic I've seen is on Reddit but I couldn't say if there is a rule against putting it on the boards or not.
