Fun Tournament for best Runeterra Region!

Ascension eSports is hosting a fun 5v5 LoL tournament which revolves around the Runeterra Regions. The 8 regions selected this time were:

• Bandle City

• Demacia

• Freljord

• Ionia

• Noxus

• Piltover

• Shurima

• Zaun

Matches will be played in summoner's rift. There are no rank requirements. The tournament consists of a "group stage" where 4 regions are eliminated in bo1 matches. The other 4 regions proceed to a bo1 double elimination playoffs. The tournament is May 25-27, and each match starts at 7 p.m. EST.

We used riot's lore site for the majority of the project to know the factions for each champion.

When will rosters for each region be released?

We aim to have rosters to be released at May 24.

 

How will I be contacted if I were accepted?

Players who are selected to represent their region will be contacted by e-mail and other applicable methods if necessary.

 

Where is the bracket?

For now, the bracket is a secret and will be announced when players are announced on May 24.

 

How can I keep with relevant news quickly?

Here is the AE discord which more announcements will be posted and is recommended in case the e-mail is recognized as spam or something.

 

Where are the other regions?

For now due to scheduling constraints, only 8 regions were picked for this tournament, but in the future there will be more opportunities for regions like Shadow Isles.
