About URF, not a rant, PLEASE READ.

So, I just wanted to get some thoughts, this isn't a cry, April is coming in two months, just getting out some Ideas. I know there's a lot of support towards bringing URF back, but there's also a lot of issues. So here's a big idea, maybe it couldn't work, but it's the principle that counts. Here's the idea:

Bring URF back, but only on the weekends, in custom games, and you have to be level 30.

So what would this mean, what does it accomplish and what issues might it solve ?

1. URF would deter people from playing Normal and Ranked games: Yes, URF is very appealing and would keep people from playing Normal and Ranked games, raising the wait time and decrease matchmaking effectiveness. But, having URF two to three days a week would keep people who play during the weekdays in the normal and ranked games. Weekends' player base should be able to keep up with URF and non-URF players. Also, having URF in custom would mean no stats would be raised, and a minimum amount of rewards (IP and EXP) would be given, deterring players from continuously doing it, unless they just want to have fun.

2. New players would get too accustom to URF: If URF were available to everyone, this would be the case. Since you would have to be level 30 and it's only avalible a few days a week, new players would not become accustom to the game mode. Plus, it gives more insentive to level up and play more normal games to rank up.

3. The more people play, the more players would want to to become more competitive: Yes, this is true, but only for players exclusively good at URF. Though, League players who already are professionals would still dominate in Ranked, may play URF for fun, would not themselves want URF to be competitive because they are already near the top. As for rising players, they would have to stick to normals because there is no current competitive URF scene, and there would be no ranking in URF, so if they want to rise to the top, they will have to continue to play normals; these players would want URF to be competitive, but wouldn't hold much ground. As for players who would only get on for URF, they're are probably the ones who stopped playing League after URF was dropped anyway, and wouldn't want it to be competitive. For the few who would want URF to be competitive, Riot would just have to come out and say, URF will never be competitive, and stick to it.

4. League as a certain stigma, and URF just doesn't fit: I get it, it's Riot's game, they do what they want with it. A permanent URF would change League forever, for good or for bad: Strategies would change, certain champions that Riot worked so hard on would be removed or altered and new champions would have to be worked around URF. URF was meant to be just for fun, not a part of the game itself. That's why having URF in customs, having to be level 30 and only having it on weekends, would prevent URF from ever taking control of League.

5. People would only play on weekends, some people only have time to play on the weekends, and URF would become the only game they ever play or people stop playing normals, and therefore, stop playing on weekdays and only get on weekends.: For those who only are able to play on weekends due to work, school, or community/family responsibilities, they only play League for fun anyways, and most likly aren't very competitive. URF would get more people to look forward to the weekends, getting on with friends and having a blast. For those who play normals and ranked during the week, URF might offer a nice break from the competitiveness. For the most part, people who strictly play competitively, will still play competitively, and those who want to just play for fun, can, with limitations, play URF.

Conclusion

I've grown up with League, I started in 2009 when I was in middle school with a couple of friends, and almost six years later I'm in college and I still play it, just for fun and competitively. I would hate for URF to completely take over League, that's not my intention, but URF was the most fun I had ever had in League of Legends. With that in mind, I would be so disappointed if URF was buried and forgotten.

So thank you for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate it.

Bump. Tis good plan. Additionally, it doesn't split the player base.

my only problem is Azir.

He was only programmed for up to four soliders.

The entire game should be Urf.

Champions actually have strengths and weaknesses in that mode.
