Maybe Empower the Support Role and Teemo

I feel like this should be put on the "Gameplay and Balance" board because it is dealing with that; however, my posts that go on such boards as that one are always removed and the only place I can ever get them to be posted without being removed is the "Miscellaneous" board, so that's where I'm going to put this.

Teemo I like very much, but when Teemo faces anyone who starts building MR it is an impossible lane and he might as well build resistances himself because there will be no winnable trades. I guess the idea is to not trade with him but they will get in some damage and when they do they will, by far, out damage compared to the damage that Teemo will do.

As a support I feel that there needs to be more gold for them, because there is much less ability to impact the game. This way the support has more difficulty carrying games, or making their team win, so they are harder to score a lot of wins with, and for that reason hardly anyone wants to play them. When hardly anyone wants to play them, it means you have to wait in lobbies longer to play the game. Because I don't like waiting in lobbies, I play support, but I feel like this is a thankless role (people are angry at me for playing it somehow).

The warding issue is also an annoyance. People tend to ask me to ward when I have been busy helping my team battle or avoiding being ambushed. They will ask me to ward when we have just lost a team fight that warding really had no impact on, as with five champions versus five champions at an inner turret. So I would like it if you would make warding more of a job for everyone rather than just the support, through the trinkets perhaps? We both know no one is upgrading those, probably because nobody at my tier really believes warding impacts whether they win or not. They feel it's just something to give someone a hard time over, because he chose to support.

You could always build hybrid/AS/AD Teemo, no one expects it until it is toooooo late.

As for the supporting thing, yeah, that is always going to be a problem, until Riot lets everyone buy sightstone in a 7th spot but even then it will be a problem.

I run hybrid penetration runes but I think AS/AD with that would be better than the AP that I have.

Personally I go flat AD marks, armor seals, mr blue, and AD quins

With my build path being Tri Force, Frozen Mallet, BotRK, Wit's End, Zerker Greaves, and either Nashor's or Hurricane.

I really feel like he needs the mushroom damage with significant AP to give it some power because it is his supplemental strength! Without the ap, his abilities don't benefit from his stats, and he becomes basically similar to twisted fate adc. No offense to your build, it might be better than what I have in mind. It's just the way I think.

As a support or mid yeah, as a top, not so much. Use the shrooms to ward, split push for days, give your team free pressure and control when the jungler is forced top to stop you.

Also, ADC TF ain't bad, a stun on a basic ability as well as damage amp into AS increase is all pretty good for an ADC.

What you have written makes a lot of sense, and I'll think over my feelings on Teemo some more. I feel like some kind of hybrid approach is really what I'm looking for.

Feel free to do try different things, that is just how I play him personally, as a counterpick, that might not work for you, gl though if you do try it.

One thing I just thought of is to start long sword to build BORK but have mad AP in your runes set. So they'll build to counter the long sword but you'll have an ace up your sleeve.

Hi, I main Teemo and was used to play teemo with the 10m shrooms, and from the nerf till now, I've had to change my gameplay dramatically. First of all, I've changed from AP to Hybrid AD/AS/AP. I've seen the best Teemo player going this build and started kinda copying him.

Nowadays i feel I am pretty well adapted to the new Teemo, and going straigth to Frozen Mallet (1st) and Runaan (2nd) I gather some survivability through extended life (+700 hp) and slows to help kiting. Besides, I am usefull in TF's as half their team is under slow effects.

As a result of this, on the last 20-30 games I've been able to have an average of below 5 deaths per game, which, as a Teemo, looks to be a pretty decent number.

My only problem playing Teemo (top, mid or supp) is right after picking Teemo I have to listen to:

"nooo, not Teemo" "useless Teemo in TF's" "why? why Teemo?" "Teemo Noob!"

and worse... and this attitude leads to additional flaming ingame, and to ppl trolling from the 1st minute of the game.

Being Teemo is not easy at all. It requires practice to master it and a lot of self control in order to not react to all the flameness of Anti-Teemo ppl.
