Ok so I gathered some information from gangplanks lore.. In the lore it states "Gangplank used to be together with a woman called Illaoi, however she left him. After his supposed death, Illaoi didn't hold a grudge against her supposed killer, Miss Fortune, or seemed sad at all."

"Illaoi and Gangplank Gangplank used to share an intimate relationship, but Illaoi chose her god over a man.

illaoi is 100% a female and a human, also related to bilgewater and her occupation is "Priestess of Nagakabouros"

What is naga? a group of serpentine Hinduist deities considered nature spirits and the protectors of springs, wells and rivers. They bring rain, and thus fertility, but are also thought to bring disasters such as floods and drought. -Perhaps she is related to cassiopeia?

What is ka? "which is an attendant spirit supposedly dwelling as a vital force in a man or statue, believed by ancient Egyptians to be the spiritual part of an individual that survive the body after death." -In gangplanks lore illoai thought gangplank was dead -illaoi left gangplank when she thought he was dead also she had no sadness after his death also..

What is bouros? "a symbol commonly used to represent infinite or paradoxical cycles, depicted as a serpent eating its own tail."

  • To be honest I think 100% illaoi is related to cassiopeia just there is no evidence OR illaoi is rivals with cassiopeia

Nagakabouros is the god of illaoi so perhaps illaoi isnt even the champion, for example everyone was like "OH MY GOD DHAMA NEW CHAMPION!!" but no later in the game her name is Kindred now so perhaps illaoi isn't the champion and Nagakabouros is the new champion name

Also which doesn't really matter is that illaoi is a mana using champion so no energy/rage/ no mana bar :c

With your kindred Dha Ma analogy, they were totally separate ideas that had nothing to do with one another, the community just misunderstood. Riot actually had to come out and say "hey, sorry but we've been making kindred for months, this guy just came up with a similar idea". These two, however, obviously have some relation, whether it be one or the other that is actually the new champion. Good information here, but I think all this will be on hold until Riot can get a good grip on PBE feedback form season 6. Still looking forward to a new champion though.
