Support mentality
I used to main support and have since branched off into each of the five roles to better understand how each champion plays. I've found that I still carry around the support mentality of dying to save a teammate. I find it difficult to stop, it's become a reflex and even though I'm mindful of it, I often slip into this mode more than I would like. It has led to many of my teammates blaming me for deaths and not enough kills. Such comments like "0/5 wow.." While neglecting the 12 or so assists and the 3 times I sacrificed my k/d to save them. Am I wrong to be doing this? I'm a very team focused individual, and I'm wondering now if I should just be as selfish as I can and maybe try and carry for once. I'm curious if anyone else carries around this type of role mentality when playing different lanes etc.
