Why can you get reported for saying "gg ez"? Is that verbally abusive? I mean I haven't been banned for saying it, but I do get reported for saying it.

It's disrespecful and in really bad taste to say "ez, easy, etc" to an enemy team. The other team is already feeling bad about a loss, which knowing league, an easy loss is usually because people are having a bad game, toxic players on their team, or just an unbalanced player skill balance. An "easy" game is not a good game. A good game is in which everyone is having fun, and when you steamroll a team, typically they aren't happy about it. You calling them "Easy" is just a dick thing to do.

why would they put 'taunt' as an emote if they didnt want people to taunt?

You can get banned for shit talking, especially if it has clearly had an effect on the other person. A taunt emote is different from actually taunting a person.

Well as long as I know I can't be banned for saying it, false reporting is really irritating though

I think you actually can get insta-banned if you get too many reports in one game if you already have a poor record. I don't know the whole background story, but a friend of mine got trolled with the whole enemy team reporting him and got banned for 2 days immediately. I'm pretty sure there was a background to it, but a bad history which hasn't gotten you banned yet should stay that way. He had done nothing except rolfstomp their team that game. I dunno. Maybe a ban that was already bound to happen took a while to be implemented.

nah number of reports dont matter at all. if you get reported they have a program to see if you said certain abusive keywords or phrases. if you didnt then you are fine.
