Report for being "unskilled"?

You can't really get banned for just being really bad at a game even if you are trying and having fun can you?

I don't think that report tag actually works.

It's there for stress relieving reasons I guess.

Yup. Pretty much does nothing lol. I heard it might lower MMR, but I highly doubt it.

You don't get banned, the person reporting you for unskilled will never be matched with you on the same team taht's all

Completely false.

And somewhere in 2013 it was announced.

Please DO show me where it says other wise.

There was 1 red post in that thread. It said, "Don't worry, Unskilled Player reports do not show up in the Tribunal. Those reports are just for our research, analyses and system features."

Please tell me how you possible get that it means you won't get matched with that person again? I'm not sure why you cited something that in no way backs your point.

My "where is says otherwise" is in experience where I report players, and get them on my team the very next game.

Your move.

Somewhere on the official site in season 3 that i can't find anymore stated clearly that a person will not be put into the same game after reporting the person in order to prevent negative attitude before game starts.

I've never heard of this. It would be abusable in Ranked play, so it is very unlikely this exists.

That is false. It simply doesn't happen. I have had many instances of reporting for unskilled, only to get matched with the person the next game.

This would also be highly abused in high elos. You cannot find it because it doesn't happen lol.

The "unskilled player" reports do nothing directly to the reported player. It has been suggested they are present mostly as a "rage dump", so that players who are upset after a loss don't file false reports under other categories.

Riot can see them, and can use them as feedback for tweaking the matchmaker.

I guess it's possible that if a player got a LOT of them, someone from Riot might look at the account and see if anything unusual was going on.

I thought the unskilled player report just made it so that the person being reported got matched with people who were a lower skill level
