Fantasy Tiebreaker System

So I was looking at the tiebreaker system and always question why doesn't head to head get calculated into it. I feel if Team A and Team B have same record but Team A beat Team B in a head to head they should be in first place but with the current system if Team B has more overall points then Team A then Team B is first even though they lost head to head. It's even the same for deciding playoffs, you go by head to head not how many kills they get or how fast they can end the game. It seems to just make more sense if head to head was calculated above points, so it would be set up like:

  1. Overall Record
  2. Head to Head
  3. Most points So my question is why do you have it set up this why and what are the benefits of doing a point based system instead of head to head?
