Does Battlecast Xerath count for the Glorious Evolution Icon?

I'd like to know if Battlecast Xerath counts for the Glorious Evolution Icon. The battlecast page states you have to gift something battlecast. Gift a Battlecast skin to earn this icon and prove your devotion. Available from November 25 through December 7.
