If I could ADC in every ranked match....
I wouldn't be in bronze 4. With that said, if I was really "gold" material like I really think I can achieve and could be, then I would be able to carry the game as a support. However, it becomes disgustingly difficult when every lane loses, as many of you know. My last two ranked matches I was last pick, and we all know what that means in Bronze... support! I honestly don't mind support, it's a bit underwhelming at first but your role becomes paramount end game. But when my ADC doesn't understand how important it is to farm, (and in bronze the adc with the most farm wins the lane...), then it becomes a bit discouraging. Another thing in bronze is that people don't know the importance of map awareness or not getting caught out in unwarded territory, which yes, some of us do learn this lesson the hard way.
The point being that I honestly am hoping for a team builder ranked mode where I could choose ADC and won't have to worry about having an adc that doesn't know to buy a pink or two, or won't hae to BEG them to get every last hit on minions to keep up in items and exp. In bronze it's really frustrating to see the match at 30 minutes in and your team mates are averaging barely 100 cs. If you simply look at videos of diamond league players, you'd see right away the difference between divisions. They're constantly always farming and doing things to better their CS and getting that cash flow. I get it! I get what being in diamond is about. It's cool and I'm really hoping I can at least make it to gold eventually.
Anyway, ranked team builder mode would be amazing, although going back to my first original point being that in order to be truly gold or above, you need to at least be competent at each role. Since I've been playing for a few years, I'd say I've made some progress and can perform exceedingly well in most roles. However, it would be interesting to see how riot counteracts people that have preferences in the roles that they play in ranked in order to weed out those players who aren't so well rounded and versatile (aka a team player). Any advice, suggestions, or commentary on this would be very welcome, even the negative ones. Any criticism is good criticism when you're in bronze. :P
