League of Legends, my experience with it, ups and downs, my questions, thoughts, etc...

Hello summoners, Folgheim here.

I am a new player in League of Legends and this MOBA genre all-together. I have started playing on February the 26th, almost two weeks ago. I am fairly decent at this game if I listen to what my brother and my friends tell me... or rather I have this "Beginner's luck" thing going on, but in truth the game is not that hard to grab and learn. I play company of heroes 1 and 2 a lot and other RTS games and for that reason I do not have hard time with a game that is basically founded on principles of Grand Strategy, Resource Management (gold, mana, cooldowns, health points, etc..), Supreme Tactics, Teamwork and Proper Execution.

Now for the almost two weeks that I have played, I acquired in-depth knowledge on champions, their lore and skills. It has been a fun experience falling, learning from mistakes, re-doing games, stumbling upon these champions and finally winning as your picks. I even had mirrored games where teams would be exact identical and that was by far the most exciting and thrilling experience out there, since I got to see how other players player all the champions, giving me an idea of what I can and can not do, as well as, what are the possibilities for the champions. Games were wild and exciting, full of teamfights, one sided fights, tactics and a lot of havoc. Let me say this: League of legends is an addicting, challenging, fun, fueled with action and options kind of a game.__

With that said however, there are some details that detract from an overall experience and these I shall address in a point form:

UI problems at times are just irritating. Screen tearing during game at times (even with gtx 1070 :( and an icore7 ) At times (Majority of times in my case, but I am assuming its just me and that these are rare occurrences), very poor sportsmanlike players. Downright disgusting and frustrating.... I have experienced times where players have played much much longer than me (since they have gotten to level 30, whereas I was just gifted an account by my brother), can not understand the terminology that is "Team Work". Players Do not seem to pay attention to the map.... or if they do they purposely do not fall back. A person playing (can not remember the name of the champion) a guy that looks like a Splinter Cell night vision goggles, with a sword running around trying to do a 1v5 due to a 30/11/9 score and thinking hat he will win against team that has Crowd Control, An item that neglects healing and penalizes it, two stuns, and a well defended marksman.... Comment: "Folgheim: Please wait for the team, we can do it together" "Player X: Shut up, 9/4/11" -Player X got butchered, player Y and entire team earned better gold due to shutdown, we are outnumbered 4 to 5. Players leaving deliberately if you offer them help. Players cursing you for not helping them when forces should be directed at destroying the last tower. What's the priority? One kill, or one structure 5 ft away from victory? Support And Marksman.... well its a bit messed up...... Apparently supports wander off leaving their said marksman alone. During teamfights, they do very poor job of defending one. These two roles go together at all times, so why do they not communicate properly? Everyone sees the kills, nobody pays attention to any plays that were made to make those kills, which in truth shows the skill of a player more than kills themselves. Supports do not get any love for anything they do... They are just... there. Every time I pat on their head, I get tossed and told: what do you mean? Player X killed everything. I state: "I watched the plays and trust me if that support did not do X and Y in that fashion, you would be dead with no kills". Close to no positive reinforcement, only negative. Does the Report player option work? Premades.... they apparently have courtesy for everything instead of it being other way around, ask the random player what he or she may want, since they are the only members of the team, who are "Random" and who may cost you your game if not given what they best can. Everybody points out that you are "bad" at the game, once you try to defend said player, since you do feel bad, and you do not want them disconnecting, they target you.... And so it is that the biggest badmouthing player ends up being the one to be reported due to not trying. (I appriciate it when players listen out everyone, try to reason and try whatever it is they can to improve, win or a loss, an epic game is an epic game). "Dear Nasus, if you read this last point, this is directed at you. I really appreciate your play and your patience with that degenerate. I hope you the best and I wish you best of games to come, the other player well... good luck too I guess".

So these are my points about this game so far :).

IF you read this, let me know if you agree or disagree. This is an awesome game, so I hope to see all of you next round, be it with or against me. Good luck and have fun!
