LeaverBuster message prevents chat and store

Hi guys!

I'm a relatively new player who likes to play with friends. However, one of my friends is a chronic AFKer and recently got a 20 minute ban (he deserves it). But when he starts the queue, the LeaverBuster message pops up, saying we have to wait for 20 minutes. The problem is, I can't chat or use the store without leaving the queue. I feel like this is unfair to me as someone who rarely AFKs. Maybe an "ok" button should be added with a timer in the corner or something.
