Loss Forgiveness for Ranked

There should be loss forgiveness in ranked if your team has a afk person, and i mean afk the entire game. Was just in my series and lost both matches because I had an afk in them, and lost plenty of LP due to both losses. Its really just frustrating that I get to my series only to lose and have to climb back up again. And again. And again. Riot, please do something about this, im tired of having to constantly fight my way up, only to get no reward for it. :(

And what I meant by loss forgiveness, i mean don't make the losing team with the afker lose so much LP from it, like make them lose about half of it, so that they won't have to struggle so much to climb back up.

Or they could just do what Dota does and save everyone time by just when one person DCs after 5 minutes, the rest of the team can leave and the guy that does DC is the only person that loses MMR

I missed that part (considering I was replying to this and a very similar but turns out slightly different post). My apologies. This can be abused by someone AFKing because they have a bad team comp, don't match up well against the other team, etc.

I once lost a provisional because I was the only player on my team who was connected. No, I am not exaggerating. It was a 1v5 and I got the rear end of the deal. I had 4 wins and 3 losses in seven of my provisionals. The other 3 had afks and troll feeders. I also saw a post made by riot that said that there is no such thing as elo hell. While I admire how bold they are for denying its existence, many of my ranked games prove that they could not be any more wrong.

Riot creates special player accounts which it then places on your team when you get to promos in order to test your skillz. They are designed to look like real players, but are actually just fake troll accounts.

You should be able to carry even if all four of your teammates are afk all game. Think of all that extra cs you don't have to share with four other people!

At least I had 3v5 in my last match, mind you I was reconnecting for 70% of the match. Our other player got reconnecting the whole entire game then got leaver. (Not his fault) It went well, we only surrendered as soon as we could.

If you start losing, you just convince one person to go AFK. Imagine duo queuing with someone that doesn't care about their rank. If you win, great. If you lose, just have that person go AFK to Band-Aid your loss. Anything like this would just get abused.

It shows in the final screen the person's name in red if they are afk for too long. That should be an automatic loss forgiven. If you manage to pull off a win 4v5, you should get double LP for the game.

Sure, if it's someone who never actually connects. Or maybe doesn't connect until 20-25 minutes in, because sometimes people will do that, randomly connect when the game is almost over.
