Can you remove "Godlike"

hey riot . i used to play league of legends for about 1 and half year . and i am religious person . after i asked a lot of men . they told me that i cant play this game . coz this word offenses our religion . and i really wanna play this game with my friends and my team . but i cant . can you change this word with another word doesn't contain god or something like that . just normal word that can boost the ego . and too many religious people are facing this problem . can you remove it or change it next patch please . Respect the religious people or even the religion Thanks ^^

There are many religious influences on the game, such as through Wukong (Son Wukong), Cassiopeia (Medusa), and Kayle (some kind of angel). I do not recommend this game if these kinds of religious references offend you. You might try Smite instead.

Also, I don't really understand how Smite of all games would be suitable for a person whose religion finds references like this bad.

I think Shahamut (and probably anyone else who read) thought you were insinuating that OP was somehow a bigot just because they expressed their faith.

They also never stated which religion they belonged to, so you can't be "testing their commitment to the doctrine". I don't agree with their request either, but I also didn't immediately assume they were a hateful gaybasher.

There has been a follow up post made by a "friend" of OP. In it he claims OP visited Mosques to ask if it was okay to play this game.

The religion has been confirmed. And it's not the one you immediately assumed it was.

OP failed translating the term used in the game to whoever he was talking to.

How? Because English refers to both "Jehovah" and "deity" as "god" with only one difference of capitalizing "God" when meaning Jehovah. In arabic "Allah" means "God", but "god" as in "deity" has a different word for it, which would be "ilah".

If he said "Allah", then of course he'd hear a "No".

I would be considered a very "religious" person by some people's standard, but I don't find the word "god" to be an offensive thing.

Im actually kind of curious what religion you are, as the only "religious" organization I can think of that would be offended by this word are Atheists...?

I am highly religious ( orthodox christian and we keep to the old ways ) and it doesn't offend me at all. I can see how someone might be, but they shouldn't change their game for religious views. If it were directly insulting then we would have a whole different story but this is ok by me.

I've gotten use to it, but I still remember how much it bugged me that "Godlike" was a lesser tier than "Legendary". At least have "Godlike" be the top tier!

Your community sounds super-restrictive. If they are so trigger-happy that a thing such as "Godlike" offends them, you'd be better off either rolling with it, playing the game anyway, or trying to leave for somewhere less hawkish.
