The series curse

We all know that satisfactory feeling of being on a winning streak and qualifying for series games. Your teams have been working so perfectly together and everything is going smoothly... Until you hit your series. I can't say this for anyone else, but I've found that whenever I reach my series games, all hell breaks loose. Your team isn't working together, no one is communicating, your team falls apart. "Ok, I lost my series games, no biggie, I'll get it the next time around." Win all games till you get to series again. Teams have been great, working together, getting objectives, working as a team. "You have qualified for your series games, good luck." First series game is a win. "Awesome, team worked well. I got this" Next 2 games, all hell breaks lose. Team doesn't listen to pings, don't help get objectives, no one works together. You lose your series and get pushed back down into the never ending cycle of ELO hell.
