How do you get korean characters in your name on the na client like boxbox?

So i was wondering how you get korean characters in your name on the na client like boxbox has, like do you need to buy a name change or can you sign up with it?

You can only use the characters in the official languages your region's client services. LCS players and teams are excused from the filters. Another example: You can't use "Ass" in any team name either, but the Taipei Assassins obviously got an exception.

Edit: It appears he got his account name before he joined that team. Probably made it before that rule happened.

yeah, back in season 1 or 2 you can use special characters but now you can't =(.

or... you can change region languages and make a summoner name.
