Do people stop quitting when u get out of bronze/silver?

Just a simple question. I find that people quit after the first or second time their team get aced and are wanting to surrender right away in silver and below. Does this change when u get to gold and up?

it happens a bit less, but still happens.

I myself am not higher than bronze however I have a friend who is diamond 5 and he says it happens quite commonly. There are people who just don't care because they made it to diamond. I don't know from experience though, just something a friend told me.
