My school now has a League Of Legends club with over 60 people

I wanted to make this forum to tell you about how not only my school has created a league club but on how much it has grown. We have over 60 members and 20 computers running league. Our club is on Mondays and some times fridays. I wanted to tell you this because its some of the best time I've had in high school. You get to meet these new people who share the same love for the game that you do. We have a meeting today so I will post pictures and such. Thanks you for the read! League is getting so much more recognition from schools... just in time for me to leave High School. At least it's getting big in colleges, too.

They now allow videogame clubs in high school these days?

Aren't schools aware some colleges block access to this game because it's bad for your study time?

Why can't you just create a nerd club outside school, why do you need school?

i would do this except, my schools computers are ass and probably will run league at like 30 frames low settings. I much rather go home and play with my friends on skype at 200 frames max settings.

Didn't expect this to get so big so i wanted to clarify some things.We set the club through different tier teams going in order i will list them.

*Varsity *Jr Varsity *Team Blue *Team Red *Team Yellow *Team Purple

There where try outs for JV and Varsity team that 5 dedicated judges judge and if you didn't make that then you where placed in the lower team based on your friends or who you wanted to play with.

We had a 20 dollar fee to enter the club to pay for the tee shirts food drinks and internet costs

Just wondering, how large is your school to provide this many group members? And did the majority play League before joining, or did some join to learn?
