What's with the people who think that because you get a lag spike your computer is garbage

Me: "Is anyone else getting a lag spike?" Jhin: "Why don't you swap out your potato for a computer with an actual processor"? Jhin: Immediately gets shredded to death by enemy ADC while typing. Seriously, have these people not seen all the posts about the insane lag spikes? If you're that desperate to express your salt go push lane instead of getting shredded while typing.

I have an i5 processor and amazing Wi-Fi, yet I still get lag. I know it's not an issue on my end, because I alt-tab out and perform a task which would give me lag if it was my end. I alt-tab back into League, and I get lag. I think the servers need an update to support the masses.

It's just a comment by a typical, entitled layman (the ones we also sadly call "gamers"). Don't take it seriously.

Lag comes from a variety of factors, from programs running in the background, to an unstable internet connection, server issues on Riot's end, etc.

wifi is bad for gaming.

Yeah, those who think that gaming on WiFi is not the problem need to have their heads examined. Same with cordless mice, cordless keyboards and touch pads. You are asking for problems. When I hear, "my batteries just died", all it tells me is that I have a stupid teammate on my side that I have to deal with for the next 30 to 40 minutes.

What makes me laugh is this excuse is almost always used after they player does something DAF in game. It is never used at the start of the game like when they are buying items, dancing, doing their emotes or simply walking to lane. This excuse flies only when they do something dumb.
