League of Legends Characters Aging
So is has come to my attention after that past update that some of the league of legends characters are aging. I do believe that this is something Riot is trying to add to make the game just that much more exciting, thought out, and interesting. Now for certain champions, I don't really have any back up details because I'm not an expert on how yordles and void creatures age, but some of these actually make a bit of sense. Obviously most of this wasn't discovered in game, but specifically on the champions screen outside of game looking at their new pictures.
Annie was the first example of this. Everyone with eyes could tell annie looked A LOT older once they updated her, going from about 5 years old, to a solid 9 years old. Now maybe it was because they don't want to have a game where you murder toddlers, or maybe it was because they want to show a progression of age in the champions as you would in real life. Perhaps it was a bit of both.
For blitzcrank, we could probably say that robots dont typically age, BUT they do get old and worn out. In game, blitzcrank looks different since they added a bit on his in game design. Now some people may just look past it, but I say that those additions are repairs since blitz has been getting worn out so often on the rift, and he's just becoming old in general.
For Ezreal, his new picture on the champions screen makes him look like a young adult, not the pop teen sensation he typically looks like in game. Yes, in game he's still a little brat looking diva scumbag, but in all honesty, his picture makes him look very grown up.
For Gragas, there really isn't any hard examples, but his tattoos are a lot more vibrant and alive looking in his art work. And it looks like he got a tattoo on his head which i do not believe was there beforehand. Nevertheless, if you specifically look at his old/new faces in the artwork, he does look a tad younger in the new one. Which doesn't help my case, but most of this is all out of not much anyway.
For Graves, there wasn't too much to go on anyway. But I truly do feel that his face looks a lot more aged in his new artwork then his old. Whether you agree or not is up to your eyes to decide.
Janna looks like a teenager in her old artwork, and similar to ezreal, she looks like a young adult in the new artwork. Nuff said
Jarvan IV looks to have grown up a tad as well when comparing the two artworks. His five o'clock shadow is way more defined, and his armor seems more new, shiny, and just better quality in general. Perhaps his old armor was too torn up from fighting, and as Demacian royalty, he could very easily obtain newer, better armor if he pleased.
Can't really say much about kayle/chogath/tristana/veigar/Shen/Shaco
Wukong's eyes say quite a bit in the new artwork. As well as he doesn't look as playful and fun as the previous Wukong artwork picture. His beard looks a bit more grown out as well.
Talon seems to have gone from this young adult assassin to a middle aged man.
Zilean's wrinkles look more defined
Even lee sin's picture which was changed a while ago looks a lot more aged then his previous picture. Can't you see it in his eyes? I mean chin? To me it just seems he gained a few lbs.
Rengar's nose/facial area seems to have widened a bit, while his armor seems to have worn down a tad as well.
Even Rumble, the cute little rat yordle seems to have grown up
Udyr's beard color has changed. Which may or may not mean something.
A lot of this is garbage information to back up my theory, but I truly do believe that Riot is attempting to make the game age along with it's items, maps, playstyles, jungle camps, mechanics and so much more. Tell me what you think and if you have other information to back this up I'd love to hear it.
