Controversial MMR boosting punishments
I just got suspended for having my friend played on my account. To my knowledge, he played enough games to get me from Gold 5 to Gold 3. I get that it is still considered as MMR boosting, but it isn't like I just went from Silver to Diamond. I don't think every player who boosted should be treated the same way. I am fine with being suspended for 2 weeks for the 2-rank boost, but not to the extend of having my rewards (past and present) stripped away ON FIRST NOTICE considering I got to Gold 5 by myself. I stopped letting my friend log in to my account even before Rhojin wrote the article about the punishment, and when I saw the article, there wasn't anything I can do to prevent the punishment. Riot didn't really give a chance to people to correct their mistakes. I think Riot should give out a warning before starting to punish players. Players can go AFK and intentionally feeding for games and only get a nice little warning message, but when you have your friend played a few games on your account you get everything taken from you. Where is the logic? Regardless, I just want Riot to go easy on my case (and some others) and revoke my punishment on the rewards because it is simply unacceptable. Thoughts?
