KDA Ratio Calculations Should Change

Currently KDA Ratio = (Kills + Assist) / Death

10 min into game: Person A: 0/1/0 and 100 cs, KDA Ratio of 0 Person B: 0/11/1 and 50 cs, KDA ratio of 0.09.

Not much difference but still seems odd that a feeder could somehow end up better KDA than say a top that hasn't had kill opportunity yet but is doing well in farm and winning their lane.

I propose a system that takes cs into account and maybe uses different math.

If, for example, Kill = 1 / Death = -1 / Assist = 1 / 20 CS = 1 & New KDA = (Kills+Assist+CS) - Deaths

Person A: 0/1/0 with 100 cs, KDA of 4 Person B: 0/11/1 with 50 cs, KDA of -8

Maybe the numbers need to be tweaked a bit, but I think something closer to the second method more accurately represents the player on the team and how they are performing at the time.

Any thoughts?

It's one metric, no one said it was perfect.

The problem isn't the metric, the problem is the community raging at anyone not doing well (instead of helping them before it's too late).

Person A: 0/1/0 and 100 cs, KDA Ratio of 0

is a KDA of negitive. Normally people just say they are negitive and drop the kad and ratio.
