[Question/Suggestion] Gifting Limits

I was wondering how practical it would be to raise, or even eliminate, the amount of gifts that you are allowed to give away during any particular 24-hour period. I spend a lot more money giving gifts to my friends than I care to admit, but I'm often limited to how much I can give due to the 3 gift limit. This is especially relevant during holiday events (I love mystery gifts!!!) where I like to give out gifts to many friends.

I have a few suggestions regarding this:

  1. eliminate the gifting limit altogether - I'm not entirely sure what this would do, seeing as I'm not 100% sure why the limit exists in the first place, we're already spent money on RP so why limit how quickly we spend it? It doesn't make Riot anymore money than if we spend it slowly, and as a business I assume they want as much money as quickly as possible. I can only assume this is some sort of counter-measure to prevent/slow hackers or others who obtain RP through ill-gotten means from buying things with said RP and sending them to their main accounts.

  2. raise the amount you can gift in any given 24-hour period - I see no downside to this apart from the situation that I described above regarding hackers.

  3. keep the limit the same but raise it or even eliminate it during holiday events - Again, I see no issues.

Let me know what you guys think, and hopefully I can get a Red post to answer my questions.

I agree completely the limit should be removed, but I can tell you why its there, one to prevent friends/family/hackers/or just wtf who knows a terriost, from say getting on your account and sending stuff to theirs, but that is also unlikely that they would steal your account to gift themselves skins, the normal skin cap should not be there, but for holidays I can gladly explain, so instead of me a Hearty skin collector(im short the tpa skins have the rest) from say putting 200$ on my lvl 20 smurf, then just gifting myself 100 mystery gifts, for a reduced price, way reduced, without having to properly pay for them like everyone else did, instead I abused the capless mystery gift :D! Its people like you me, and the next guy that make life have to have stupid rules!

The prolem with that is that would cut down on the skin money making a lot. If they took out the 3 every 24 hours I would just w8 buy 35 bucks worth of rp and spend all 5000 on mystery skins in that math I would get about 10 skins not to mention that most of those would probably be 1350 950 skins. or i could just slowly buy out all the non expensive like the 650 rp 850 and then when it rolled around just get all the expensive ones from that. It was generous enough for them to put it in where you could get a 3250 rp skin (pulsfire ez) (spirit Guard udyr) small chance of getting one of those anyway but still a chance for 500 rp.
