Ashe splash used in product shot

Saw this product image in a newegg email. Got me wondering if companies like Riot care if their images are used to sell other company's products with no compensation, or if they are happy for the exposure. They might have even made a deal, who knows. I didn't see any mention of Riot or LoL.
