What laptop should I get to run League and other games?

So just today I spilt water on my laptop.. Tried fixing it by unscrewing and drying everything. Don't think it will ever work because an ffc strip fell off and it's wet.. I was wondering what laptop I should buy? I've been searching for awhile and all I see is Lenovo y40? Or Lenovo y50(too pricey for me) so I might be going with a Lenovo y40 or any other suggestions you guys might think of. Any laptop would do that would run League and other games. Also I will be going to college soom so I might need it for school. Preferably 500$-700$ if anymore all right I'll try and see. Thanks! Also if you find one please leave a link so I can check it out.. Super bummed.. And I also heard that 1TB will slow your laptop down? Is that true?? Thanks again!

The only way that 1TB would "slow your laptop down" is if you're comparing a 1TB HDD to a smaller SSD. It's an apples to oranges comparison. You can find larger SSD drives, but that cost more than their HDD counterparts. From personal experience, SSD's are very nice, and I'd recommend you find a computer with a large SSD.

I don't know much about the laptop realm, only that "cheep", and "plays games well" seem to be mutually exclusive most of the time. You could probably find something that would play League OK, but your other games might be an issue.

I can't advise anyone to get a Mac personally, I've had too many bad experiences with the machines to trust them for anything more complicated that browsing the web.
