I hate league, they have placed me bronze 5 after I was silver last season. although i didn't do the best on my placements (4-6) due to people who actually belong in bronze 5, why have they done this to me? what in gods name have i done to deserve the lowest of the low. Im now either gonna see the stupidest things I've ever seen on league or I'm gonna carry every game. this should be fun. Riot, seriously? what the hell
Your Season 5 starting point is based on your MMR at the end of the preseason. Your profile may have said Silver V, but was your MMR Silver V? Or was it much lower? You can go as low as Bronze IV without being demoted out of Silver. If you were placed in Bronze V after going 4–6, you were probably Bronze III or lower before the reset.

I went 6-4 and got into Bronze 5. I started bronze 3 last season. My losses were due to AFK/DC and in those 4v5 games 1 teammates would make the charge into all the enemies and my team would follow instead of fighting by turret. Also losses due to feeders. What kind of seeding is this?
