Long Range Ult Buff Needed

I saw the R modification for in Patch 7.7, and while this is desirable and certainly useful late game, I feel like my biggest issue with it is landing the killing snipe during a teamfight. When I enter a teamfight(I use locked camera) I'm usually not ready to switch camera modes and fire. It would be highly useful for Lux's R and similar ults to zoom out like Jhin's Curtain Call, or at least have the ability to toggle this as an option.

That wouldn't make sense, there'd be no point, just unlock your camera to ult, then hit y to instantly relock, don't ask for a rule change just because you personally can't or do not like to do something. I play her too, I do it with a locked camera, i can still hit ults, plus this has nothing to do with her buff.
