Xerath or Brand

I'm like 2 games away from having enough to buy either one, which one would a better one to get?

Edit: Should also mention I want to try them both anyway

Xerath. He's more reliable, has a longer range, and pumps out more damage. Both are immobile and have problems with escape, but Xerath has a more reliable stun (since both require skillshots, but Brand requires you to hit a delayed blast FOLLOWED by a skillshot), more reliable poke damage, is not as easily countered, and can sit WAY on the back lines and nuke the enemy team.
