because of matchmaking every time I go on a winning streak it is stuck in the back of my mind that riot will make me go on a losing streak in the future to balance it out. for every win they make me take a loss. maybe sometimes I will get a win when they were trying to make me lose but it doesn't matter they will just give me even harder matches in later games. how do people deal with this without feeling hopeless and depressed?

Basically, if you keep winning, you rank up, right? Once you rank up, you are paired with stronger opponents, right? And if you keep winning even after beating a people from a few tiers above you, Riot will increase the scale of climbing, meaning you will be up against even stronger opponents, at which point, you will be gaining a lot more LP when winning and losing a lot less LP when losing. However, if that tier isn't for you, you will continue losing because you are not at the skill level to stay in that league. You will lose and lose and lose until you start winning again. Eventually you will be winning 50% of your games, which is an indicator that you are at where your skill level it, be it bronze silver gold plat or even diamond, that is where you belong
Whenever I flame matchmaking I always post on an alt too, so that my bad play isn't brought up as a reason for my losses.
