Hey fellow leaguers! ^^: I'm wondering if there's other girls that want to add me on league? I'm getting really sick of stupid comments and trolls....

We can talk on skype so you know that I'm a girl and I know that you're a girl xP Girls addy only sorry guys x(

I sometimes go AFK at times so my friend my come by and play for me. So sorry if I suddenly like don't talk at all but my character still moves xD

I know a few "girl gamers" and let me tell you something, the gamer part is the only part you should care about. Gender has nothing to do with it.

This is so fake. Girls don't want to play with other girls because girls suck at this game. See how many girls are pro level? 'Nuff said.

I'm sure there are tons of female LoL players that are challenger level. Girls don't play on pro LoL teams because the males don't want them to.

If girls were as good as boys at this game 1/10 pro players would be female reflecting how 1/10 lol players are girls. Math.

First of all that's an attempt at statistics, not just "math", and secondly you're using the wrong numbers. Even if your 1/10th number is correct it is irrelevant, you instead want the number of League players who are interested in being professional players. Use that and the ratio of players who are interested vs who are capable of playing on a professional level. Only then will you get the number you're looking for.

This is an interesting observation but also plays into my assumptions about female players. If female players are playing "for fun" and not "to win" do you really want them on your ranked team? Just something to think about. Again, my whole argument here is that girls aren't as competitive as guys in general and I see that as a fault.

You say that as if playing for "fun" and for "wins" are mutually exclusive. I'll admit that in my personal experience most women I know are not as competitive, but I'll gladly blame that on sample size.

I, along with the few female gamers I know, play both for fun and the competition that comes with trying to win, but none of us want to play this like it's a job. That's the difference between pro players and the rest of us, we would rather have fun than have another job.

You are now assuming that women don't want to be pro LoL players and have no assertion to back it up. One argument could be that most of the noteworthy female players make bank streaming instead of going pro. Perhaps there are more attractive alternatives to them than the competitive circuit? It's not like League pros make millions of dollars a year from the competitions. That said, there are pro girls in the Starcraft circuit, it's only a matter of time before you see girls integrated on pro league teams IMO.

Saying that girls are worse than boys at this game was a tongue in cheek, knee jerk sarcastic remark. Most of the girls I know that play are silver or better. Sadly, sarcasm doesn't translate over the interwebs.

You're insinuating that there aren't any girls at the challenger level. You're digging your own hole in your argument right there. Just because YOU aren't at that level, doesn't mean there aren't any girls there.

How dumb of an If, then statement. Again, female diamond/challenger players, yet since girls aren't as good as boys, then there shouldn't be any boys at the bronze, silver, gold, plat levels, right? Wrong.

Now, to a more important question. Where are you getting this statistical reference of 1/10 pro and female players? I simply said "Girls don't play on pro teams because boys don't let/want them." Doesn't matter how many female players are professional level, it's simply put. 4 guys aren't going to want to put up with a females drama in their shared household. A group of 5 guys can easily stay together than 4 guys and 1 girl, and that's for many reasons. In Quake 3, there were a few ALL GIRL pro teams, and those girls were a lot better than some of the guys that played Quake 3, see Girls of Destruction, a group my sister was invited to join, but didn't because of her young age at the time.

I apologize, but I simply can't get over your horrid statistics. There are 150 professional (recognized in the LCS and not including any backups or coaches) players, You're assuming out of the 27 million people that play League, 2.7 million of them are females, and 15 of them should be professional? Where are you pulling this information from? And here I was trying to defend female LoL players, or maybe just you, from the harsh criticism you're receiving. Never again. Shame on you interwebs!

Good. We don't need people to defend us. We can defend ourselves. But yea, thems the statistics.

What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. Now we do have evidence that all pro league players excluding Sirens (disbanded) are male and that 1/10 of the players are female and according to math that means that 1/10 of the pro players should be female.

I don't think it's because male players are sexist meanies that don't let Rudolph play in the reindeer games.

Sorry, your assumption is just that. 10% female league population doesn't translate to an approximation of should be 10% female professional scene.

And because I don't want a female on my sports team doesn't make me sexist to say the least. So another pitiful assumption.

I am trying to find some girls to play with. My husband will only let me add girls and family sooo... yeah. I have skype but I don't know if he will let me use his headset or not. I just started playin a couple weeks ago so I will tell up front I am not the greatest player. If you are looking for someone ranked or want a professional team or something, it would not be a good fit. Playing with my husband and his party brings my elo way up so it can get challenging.
