Was Stealth to Camouflage a pointless change?

But I do praise the feature of adding faint visual effect of the champion you hit with skillshots or AOE items or moves like Ezreal's kit, Hydra items, Redemption, Rumble's Q/R it does allow players to hold off from using all the time when you really want to have more Yellow or blue trinkets on your team.

But the whole camouflage feature is kind of useless even if your a main of twitch or rengar. the whole change on this one thing was useless.

If you land any skill shot in the game its a no brainer that champion has gone stealth and can easily get punished.

Another thing that bothers me as a support main is that no where in morgana's ultimate description that her ult icon lights up if any champion is within her vicinity (including stealth champions) the champion becomes revealed and targetable throughout the entire duration.

Twitch's W if thrown in the right location and his E lights up he can Expunge (old twitch ftw) and the Expunge effect goes directly to the location of the stealthed champion.

Lulu's E if casted on a champion before they go stealth will still be revealed.

Janna/Thresh/Blitzcrank/Nami/Yasuo/Riven/Alistar Ok anyone who has a pull, push or knock up will reveal this lil fuzzball

If your playing an ap champion even if your not support you should get if you throw any attack in the game you can tell someone is in stealth mode since your getting gold out of nowhere and it can lead you to making another combat plan or just... run if you can't handle it.

I've noticed if the enemy takes damage and isn't within your monitor viewing range (also counting champs hideing in bushes or other side of a wall covered in fog. there is a damage indicator that briefly shows up in the direction the enemy is taking damage from you. I've seen this on a select few of my support champions and other champions like ezreal, Teemo, rumble, darius, ziggs, xerath.

I understand that a fed twitch and a fed rengar is very unhealthy to some players which is why rengar has been reworked, even though twitch isn't that much of a popular pick but in the right hands he can be a pretty strong marksman to deal with varying on the player and his team.

This is all opinionated but do you think that adding camouflage was really necessary to you? what champions or what tricks did you use besides the beautiful pink wards and red trinkets? Maybe Mordekaiser's ult always keeps vision on an enemy you guys might be able to confirm that or might know some good alternate tricks to finding stealth champions.
