Should i be proud or ashamed, i honestly do not know.

So i have supposedly spent 3170 hours of my life playing LoL. My average game time estimate for this fifth season is around 35 minutes per match which in 300 soloq matches played adds up to about 175 hours.

I started this season in Gold 1 or 2, i don't remember exactly. I just hit Plat 1 for the first time on my 300th match this season.

Well at least having about 1,6 matches per day is very much possible even with a full time job, which might seem nice if i ever get employed... The question is though, why should i even care for this... achievement?

Somehow the more i manage to close the gap between me and the actual professionals the more depressed i get. Because reality hits me that even if i somehow reach Challenger rank on soloq this season, the chances of ever just starting down a path that professionals are walking are so slim i might as well start buying lottery tickets.

This is just a guess out of the blue but i am starting to feel like many players that manage to hit Diamond just eventually quit leaving a vacuum for new ones to fill and that my progress has actually very little to do with how well i play.
