3 refunds per season. (and other idea)

Hi riot, Over season 3 i have thought that I would be good with certain champions (for example jinx) that turns out almost every game i ended up feeding. When people refund you dont loose money, you make your rp money when they buy the card or buy the rp online, bestowing us 3 refunds will just make us as the LoL community happier. Last season i had not realized that we only got 3 so i used them on all people i ended up buying back. facepalm im so stupid xD. I hope you see my point and thank you for taking the time to read my thread.

Great idea in my opinion. If refunds 'refreshed', I wouldn't mind if they decreased the number to compensate, maybe two per season instead of three forever. Riot has often talked about wanting to reward longtime veteran players, I think this would be a great way to do it.

I think a new refund added per year (cap of 3 total) would be perfect.

I think this would be a great idea. When I first started League of Legends (around mid season 2) I didn't know what the game would be like, or what kind of play style I would end up using, etc, and I ended up using my refunds on champions that I actually bought again later anyway. Now, if I bought something that I just absolutely hate, like a skin that looked good in the picture but I just don't like it in actual gameplay or something, I can't get a refund. I've probably spent around $100 on RP over my time playing, and I fully intend to spend more as Riot releases more things I want and more things go on sale, so it would be nice if they could implement something like this where you get a certain amount of refunds each season. They could make it so that you can't refund it after owning it for a week or something like that, so people don't just get tired of something and refund it after using it a ton.

I like the idea and stuff but just to make this clear, Riot does lose money by offering refunds. Lets say you bought a new skin and then a month later a better skin for a champion you main comes out. You have to have this skin so in order to get it you refund the skin you bought a month ago to get the new one. Now although Riot did not have any money taken away from them, they did lose money in terms of a lost sale. If you didn't have the refund available to you then you would of purchased more rp to get the new skin you really want, thus giving Riot more money.

I know that you can't say for certain whether an individual would of bought more RP but that is how companies look at refunds. Riot is a company and its goal is to make money after all. Also fun fact, once someone has purchased RP once they are statistically more likely to make another purchase than players who have never bought RP. The more you buy the easier it gets to continue buying it.

I just thought it would be helpful to give what I assume would be Riot's point of view on the subject.

I feel that getting 3 refunds every season would be genuinely appreciated for the veteran players. I only started playing 1/2 way through season 2, but in that time I have bought too many skins to count, and I know that multiple times I have bought a skin, only to have the one that I really wanted (or the more expensive one) come on sale a week after, if not the next sale. Resetting the skin refund count to 3 would be greatly appreciated considering just how many skins go on sale (or are released) during a season

The thing is that people would buy a card, and spend it on who they wanted for that game. Then if they wanted to be somebody else the next game they would refund it and play with that champ. So they pretty much can be any champ they want, if they refund the b champ after every game. EX: they buy a 10$ card and get Aatrox. Aatrox Than they would play the game. After the game is done they would refund Aatrox and get Jinx Jinx for the next game.
