Is anyone else in Texas with TWC internet services experiencing explosive lag while in game? On my end i have run multiple trace routes and they all point to TWC routing IP address's being the issue. I have a work order in at TWC to look into it, and I'm hunting for more evidence.
ModWuks1 votesThanks for the tracert! The first hop, the hop between your computer and the gateway/router, shouldn't be more than about 7ms (usually around 1-3ms). It seems that you may be encountering issues with your networking hardware. It might be best to try to reboot your network devices and troubleshoot from there.
AlphaMaggot1 votesI have gone through and made sure everything physical is optimum. I'm using a Cat 6a cable and am directly connected to the modem. If i run a trace to the modem IP directly i have no response time issues.
Similar results were reproduced on different computers connected to the modem.
It's an Arris DG1670a. Is there any recent known issues with this model?

After a few adjustments the internal ping has been fixed, but everything external is still the same
