earlier i saw a post saying that for the FBI to prosecute hackers there has to be damages of $4,000. It seems being down for this long might constitute that in lost rp purchase and also in allocating employees to deal with problem.

They have nothing to gain for going after them, another group just takes their place. They lose less money just waiting for the attack to end and keeping the service running as best they can.
