ARURF Isn't Enjoyable - Personal Opinion

You know what I enjoy? URF You know why I enjoy ARAM? All random fairly balanced champions.

You know what pisses me off to no end and causes me nothing but grief? All Random URF. I can't choose who I want to play, I can't ban certain champions that always ruin my fun, and most of all I have my least favorite aspect of champ select introduced once again, chance. When I end up as nasus because of rerolls and trades and end up against Teemo? I want to quit, my inability to even play the game against that rat physically exhausts me.

I love URF, I want to play URF but I really dislike the inability to remove the few champions that ruin the experience for me (or at least a few of them) as well as not even being able to choose someone i want to play. Sometimes i'm NOT in the mood for a random champion. But what? I'm supposed to just not play because of All Random? I want to play URF, it's rarely ever here but I can't even enjoy it because of this.

I'm just wanted to get that out because I was actually getting stressed while playing. I'm aware noone is going to change anything just to make me happy.

Then you'll get constant champs like Ezreal and it'll be no fun.

I actually PREFER ARURF

The reason being that it's too easy to abuse random champions like Galio and shit by just picking them non stop.

HOWEVER I do NOT support the removal of bans. I went up against an evelynn and after level 2 there was NO WAY TO STOP HER she steamrolled everyone on our team I was ZILEAN I had a 12 second ult and I couldn't keep her at bay. We should still have bans. 3 bans for each side then it gives us random champions. I stopped playing this game mode because I don't want to go against another fukin evelynn or a galio because they were lucky enough to get an OP champ.

I remember laning against an AP Moo in URF in its first year as heal max Taric. That was an experience.

Urd is overrated in general, tbh arurf has been the most fun I've had playing urf

I do like ARURF, but URF was way better.

The fact that lots of people cried over Riot just because "most champs are too op" or "There's always the same ban/pick" was simply dumb. But I'd like to say that:

  • Yi is OP
  • Riven is OP
  • Singed is OP
  • Vi is OP
  • Fizz is OP
  • Shaco is OP
  • Sona is OP
  • Aurel Sol is OP
  • Evelynn is OP
  • Zed is... Well, beyond OP
  • Teeto is OP
  • Udyr is OP

TL;DR everyone in URF are simply OP. It's like crying over your team mates in a ranked game while you fed everyone... ...Ok that was a bad comparison, but still.

What if URF wasn't random and had 5 bans per side where each person bans 1 champion.

I got Yasou in URF. His cooldowns are about the same and his Q remains his only way of triggering his ultimate. Which means anyone who gets him gets a shorter windwall. Congrats, now what are you going to actually do?

This is the flipside to getting Lux or Ez.

I usually enjoy myself win or lose by blasting the URF theme in my headphones.

Really gets me in the mood for goofing off.

I too prefer the old URF, but in AR URF theres this one out of billion times that you will get something so stupid and make it work. There is simply no greater satisfaction. Then the enemy has jayce one shots you to oblivion and you lose the game 11/10 -ign
