What if God/Deity and Aliens are the same thing?

What if aliens existing and god being real are both true. All the previous advanced civilizations and peoples of the world, all have records of contact with beings from the universe/stars/heavens. So what if aliens have been here all along influencing the world and humans, but to them its like a game, the alien that keeps winning the battles knocksouts a competitor(deity,demon,god,alien) thereby becoming the dominant God/Religion, there starts being less gods which means more people are following one religion, Which is primarily God/Allah and then people here and there like me that have rediscoverd and decided to follow and study the old gods like Zeus, Ra, Odin, Cernunnos, Gaia. All our Gods are real, one or others just have better luck or more skill in the game their playing with the World and Humans, potentially even the Universe.
