A thank you to riots kindness.

I'm not a very loud voice often but when I want to be I can be.

That voice has been used to complain and to compliment but today its going to be used for compliments.

Thank you riot. Why do I say thank you? Because, you treat your veterans like they're important. I've seen the cases were someone on a perm ban status thats a veteran with a fully fleshed account gets a warning from riot itself instead of some auto mated system telling him/her to straighten up. And that has worked before for them, I even remember people getting their perm banned accounts back for making it to 20 or 30 without reports/bans/strikes on their new account.

I just got through trying to deal with Jagex. Yes Jagex. The company that took one of my favorite child hood games and turned it into a generic action RPG. I haven't played since 2010/2009 I logged on last month to find that my main account "D2L is Bannd"(is the account name... its currently called "T o D2L r Y" D2L stands for dark to light... its an old song phrase)Was perm banned for macroing.

I'm a veteran that played that game when it was unpopular. in 2001-2009. I wasn't really active in the earlier years until castlewars came out. I was one of the top 100 players for castlewars. Ironically I was still a no namer lol... Everyone always called me the no namer cause I never wanted to join a clan, I liked just playing and doing well for myself not for my team.. I suppose I was selfish like that.

Anyway. I got to appeal the ban and stuff and jagex apparently has a new policy where they won't even look at macroing/botting bans.

I've never botted. I was one of the players that auto retaliated and watched my guy attack for HOURS on end. I'd kill dragons.. I'd use security tunnels to train defence with my whip.. etc.

I'm treated like a criminal on their forums trying to get my account back trying to find valid evidence as to how it was botted who botted on it etc. The funny thing is the password and all the info wasn';t changed.. so how could it have been botted? I didn't bot I ...hate hacking. I'm a veteran FPS player... we hate hackers more than anything in the world...How could I live with myself if I was just another pathetic cheater? I love video games, playing them is 80% of the fun. (by playing I mean even the grinding... you're grinding for a reward and the reward is satisfying so you grind for it) How could I just let someone/something else play it for me? I've been trying for over 2 weeks now to get my main account with decorative armor back. I've never felt cold shouldered before like that.

I want to think riot for being understanding with its community. Even the toxic little piss ants are treated with respect by riot.

So I want to thank you for being respectable in that sense.

I've never once had anything negative to say about your customer support outside of auto mated messages...which is understable because theres so many people now its just not possible to answer every complaint with a real person right away.

PS: I still get the "well you shouldn't have botted" posts in the few threads I have on runescape even as we speak there's like 5+ comments about how they think what I said is a complete lie and have no mercy at all because I can't defend myself because theres no evidence to defend myself with outside of this small website I found that has stats of my account recorded on oct 4th 2011
