Varus E Grievous wound effect with ground

I play Varus a lot and I'm currently one of the top 60 Varus players with 222k mastery points. But anyways, I feel like Varus doesn't get the attention that he deserves considering how much fun he is. That's why I would enjoy if Varus' E would get a ground with his current grievous wounds effect. The reason I ask for this is because currently, all his E is used for is for zoning and making sure that champions with any healing effects are reduced by 40% and with so many champions with a dash or blink or some other form of mobility, his E is completely useless because they can heal when get out of his E which isn't that hard if you are highly mobile. But if he can keep his targets on lock with his E (with a ground effect) his Q with be easier to land and same with his ult considering that he kit is literally all skillshots (other than his W passive). I wouldn't mind if his E's slow is reduced because with it's current slowness and ground together, would just be very busted. But please, for all of the Varus mains, make his E more useful.

Also, there are some items with grievous wounds already so like, why would I want to use an ability that has a cooldown when I could just buy Mortal Reminder and keep the grievous wounds effect when I auto! (Varus Mains Faces).
